GET AWAY FROM IT ALL: A vacation with us is perfect if you are seeking relaxation amid Northern Michigan's unspoiled woods…yet we are relatively close to a variety of Northern Michigan's primary tourist destinations, historic resort towns (Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island) and other attractions. Our five freestanding individual cottages are located in a natural, private wooded area adjacent to a sandy beach and the crystal clear water of Lake Michigan.
UNSPOILED NATURAL SURROUNDINGS
The area is ideal for those seeking to escape the crowds. Enjoy a stroll along Lake Michigan's unspoiled beaches or through the surrounding woods. Be sure to explore the Little Traverse Conservancy network of nature preserves and hiking trails, many of which are located nearby. Cycling enthusiasts can take to the many Top of Michigan bicycle trails. Fishing and mushroom picking are also abundant in the area. Top-rated golf courses, including Boyne Highlands, True North and Chestnut Valley are all within a short drive away, as is Wilderness State Park with year-round camping, mountain biking, hiking, boating, fishing and picnicking.

Each freestanding natural pine paneled cottage with vaulted ceilings has a living room, two bedrooms (each with a Full-sized bed,) an eat-in kitchen and bathroom. They are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove and cooking utensils. Grills and picnic tables are available outside the cottages. Fires only allowed per DNR safety adherence. Please note there is NO Air Conditioning, No TV, No Telephones & No Wi-Fi.

PAYMENT:
FULL PAYMENT is required in advance and RESERVATIONS are only confirmed at the time payment has been made. We accept CASH or CREDIT CARD (Discover, Visa or MasterCard only.) A valid credit card must be provided for all reservations, prior to check-in, if choosing to pay cash at check-in. All sales are subject to a STATE OF MICHIGAN 6% SALES TAX + any corresponding fees and/or service charges, required payments, etc. that arise following check-out/departure.
cancellations
100% refund (less $50 service/processing fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
50% refund (less $50 service/processing fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
NO refund if you cancel less than 14 days before check-in. No refunds will be given for early departures.
TWO-NIGHT MINIMUM:
A two-night stay is required at our cottages. However, on select dates we may offer SINGLE NIGHT RENTALS, yet they are limited and subject to specific vacancies and availability. Please feel free to email for availability. A $50 Cleaning Fee will be added for ALL single night rentals.
CHECK-IN 3PM / CHECK-OUT 10AM
All guests must register and check in at the Legs Inn Dining Room. Unless other arrangements are made, CHECK-IN TIME is 3pm and CHECK-OUT TIME is 10am. The number of people in your party must be disclosed at the time reservations are made and reconfirmed upon check in (limited to 4 people per cottage.) Any guests who are not registered are strictly prohibited.
COTTAGE OCCUPANCY
Cottage Occupancy limited to four (4) people. No additional guests allowed without prior approval. If at any time, the number of people exceeds the registered occupancy per cottage, you are in breach of this Agreement and your entire party may be evicted and/or all payments, deposits, etc. forfeited. Reservations may only be made by individual(s) staying in the cottage for the duration of the reservation and must be of legal age (21 or over) with valid ID.
No Smoking/No Vaping/No Pets. Any violation of the aforementioned will result in an incremental $250 charge.
Daily cleaning service is NOT provided. ONE (1) SET of sheets, pillowcases and towels included per stay. No lifeguard on duty on Lake Michigan beach, swim at your own risk.
